On 24 April 2024, project partners met with UNICAS – Università degli Studi di Cassino e del Lazio Meridionale – to finalise the development of the STAY project’s e-learning presentations. This meeting marked a key moment in preparing the educational materials that will soon be made publicly available through the EMCA Studia platform.
Shaping Practical Tools for Clubs and Coaches
The e-learning content, based on findings from pilot implementations, expert feedback, and focus group results, is designed to help sports organisations across Europe tackle youth dropout and strengthen engagement and retention strategies.
During the meeting, participants:
- Reviewed the structure and content of all four main presentations
- Discussed adjustments based on the Good Practices & Recommendations Report
- Finalised the bonus fifth presentation, which highlights the STAY pilot actions and key lessons learned
- Set translation timelines and visual formatting guidelines
Collaborative and Lasting Effort
The partnership with UNICAS has been instrumental in grounding the e-learning content in evidence-based practices and ensuring it aligns with the real needs of clubs and coaches. Thanks to support from project partners, these materials will be available in multiple EU languages, making them accessible and practical tools for sports environments of all sizes.
Each translated presentation includes credits to the partner that contributed to its localisation — a true reflection of the collaborative spirit of the EMCA community.
With the e-learning materials now moving into their final design and implementation phase, the STAY project is well on track to deliver lasting, freely accessible resources for the European sport sector.
