The STAY! project was proudly presented at EMCA Connect, a networking and capacity-building event hosted by the European Multisport Club Association (EMCA) in Budapest in April 2025. Organised in cooperation with UTE – Újpesti Torna Egylet, the event gathered representatives of EMCA member organisations and EU-funded projects from across Europe.

During a dedicated project session, the STAY! team showcased how the project is tackling early dropout in youth sport through practical, locally-driven actions. The presentation focused on pilot activities implemented in seven countries, including tutoring programmes, mentoring initiatives, and community events designed to keep young athletes engaged.

The event allowed participants to exchange experiences and explore synergies between ongoing projects. STAY! was highlighted as a strong example of how multisport organisations can lead social change by combining sport with education and personal development.

EMCA Connect also featured interactive sessions on EU project management, communication, and partnership building, providing valuable knowledge that will support the final phase of the STAY! project and the dissemination of its results.
